Back to Professional Networking ExperiencesThis application takes the form of a brief synopsis of what you have accomplished as a Citizen Scholar, a description of the study abroad or other high-impact learning experience you wish to participate in, and an explanation of how it fits with your own academic goals and your goals as a Citizen Scholar. It is important to discuss how this funding and experience will benefit your development as a global leader and as an engaged citizen as well as contribute to your academic goals. The application offers an opportunity to begin presenting yourself as a scholar and participant in society, laying the groundwork for future projects such as grant writing, graduate school applications, and other such forms of self-presentation. Note: Freshman applicants who meet early eligibility requirements will be eligible for a portion of their $5,000, assuming that they will require further funding for future high-impact learning experiences.
